M. Sait Yardımcı is a visionary leader with over 25 years of experience across international film production, sports management, and tourism industries. As the President of the Turkish Film Commission, he plays a strategic role in positioning Türkiye as a premier global filming destination, offering production support, public sector coordination, and international co-production opportunities for foreign crews.

In addition to his leadership in the film industry, Yardımcı is a licensed B Category Basketball Manager certified by the Turkish Basketball Federation. He is also an accredited media representative at prestigious international sporting events such as FIFA, FIBA, and EuroLeague. As a former basketball player himself, he brings a deep understanding of the game, both on and off the court. Yardımcı views sports not just as competition, but as a thriving global industry built on communication, fan engagement, and strategic partnerships.

In the audiovisual sector, Yardımcı has served as a Field Producer for world-renowned broadcasters and studios such as Discovery Channel, History Channel, Warner Bros, TNT Sports, NHK Japan, Arte TV France, BBC UK, and SAT.1 Germany. His portfolio spans heritage documentaries, major television formats, and high-budget feature films shot across Türkiye. He has also been instrumental in facilitating Bollywood productions in Türkiye through a long-standing partnership with Balaji Telefilms, one of India’s leading entertainment companies.

His core areas of expertise include filming permit coordination, location scouting, public authority liaison, crew and equipment sourcing, on-site logistics, and high-pressure crisis management. His practical approach, international adaptability, and problem-solving mindset have earned him a strong reputation as one of Türkiye’s most trusted and respected production professionals.

In parallel with his media career, Yardımcı has also led a successful career in tourism and hospitality, having served as general manager of several hotels in Türkiye. He later established a travel agency in Los Angeles, where he provided both travel services and media production facilitation, forging close ties with Hollywood studios. He also founded a travel company in India, which became one of the top agencies bringing tourists to Türkiye and the United States.

Yardımcı is also recognized for publishing some of the first comprehensive tourism catalogues promoting Türkiye to the global market, significantly contributing to the country’s positioning as a leading international travel destination.

Today, M. Sait Yardımcı continues to operate at the intersection of cinema, sports, and tourism—delivering strategic leadership, operational excellence, and cultural impact through every project. His work consistently strengthens Türkiye’s global visibility and fosters sustainable value through international collaboration.
